In-game wiki of the add-on (recommended)

Feel free to skip to downloads, you don't really need to read anything in this page. The first time you join you'll get an info book where you can learn everything. The info book is also way better written than this page.

Pet Teleportation

You can use the command /preparetp or /billey:preparetp to make your following pets come with you when you teleport the next time you teleport within a minute of executing the command.

You can also force following pets to teleport to you by double-sneaking.

Pet Equipment

This add-on adds several things you can put on your pets, including chef hats(allow rats, netherrats and penguins to cook, but can also be put on any pet for aesthetic purposes), the rat king's crown (see Rat King for its function), and the rubber ducky hat (see Duck for its function).

This add-on also adds pet bowties. Pets will get a bowtie for free on tame. To take it off, craft a bowtie and attempt to put it on the pet that's already wearing one.

Suggestions for more pet equipment are more than welcome. Current plans include a pop tart for cats, fire car things for yutyrannuses and duckatrices, and a maid outfit for rats.

Leveling

Some mobs can now be leveled up. Leveling is basically the mob becoming better at its uses the more it's used. Leveling also increases the health and attack damage, speed and reach of the mob. All levelable mobs spawn in level 1 and can get up to level 10. Read each levelable mob's info for more.

You can view a mob's leveling progress by using leather on it.

Pet List - New!

You can now see all* of your individual pets in the Your Pets section in the info book.

There you can select a pet to view its health, level, location and more. You can also teleport it to you, and, if you are an operator teleport yourself to it.

You can also do this by punching a pet of yours while sneaking. Useful for checking pets' XP while leveling them.

Pets obtained before update 5.2 must have been loaded at least once since installing it or a greater version for them to be listed in it.

Spawns in oceans

Mercat

🟡 General

Mercats spawn in lakes and rivers that aren't frozen, and are tamed with raw piranha or sea pizza.

They can't breathe underwater and will have to come up to breathe air, can survive indefinitely without water,

and can only be made to sit while on land — though like every mob in the add-on, you can use a stick to make them walk/swim around instead of following you.

🌦️ Changing the Weather

If you use a nautilus shell on a tamed mercat, it'll change the weather.

It'll turn clear weather to a thunderstorm, and thunderstorms or rain to clear weather.

If in multiplayer, for this to work you need at least half of all online players to be next to a mercat that is currently changing the weather.

This can be achieved by either making the players each use a nautilus shell on their mercat,

or by having the players gather around one player's mercat.

💤 Sleeping Loot

You can sleep with a mercat by having one near you (not sitting) before you sleep.

When you wake up, the mercat will bring you a random sea-related item.

🐟 Other

They also obliterate groups of small fish, including piranhas, after being tamed.

By the way, fermented mercat milk will probably be used to craft mercat cheese in the future.

Shark

Use the info book to get this information in-game

Getting a remodel soon

Health: 20 hearts

Spawns in oceans, most commonly in deep ones

7.5 hearts attack damage

Attacks: anglerfishes, mercats, swordfishes, pizzafishes, cods and monsters

When it attacks it has a chance to drop shark teeth which can be used to craft a sword that has low durability but deals a lot of damage and has sweeping edge

When you pet it you'll get shark scales (10 minute cooldown) with which you can craft shark armor. Shark armor gives you effects and makes you swim faster, having the whole sets intensifies the effect.

Angel Cat and End Angel Cat

Use the info book to get this information in-game

Angel cat

Scares phantoms, creepers and hostile cats

When it's wild it will spawn in still mode for 15-40 seconds or until something hits it

When it leaves still mode it'll fly for 3-5 mins.

Spawns in jungles

End angel cat

Spawns in the End and jungle nights

Tameable with chorus fruit instead of fish

Duck

General

Ducks spawn in lakes and rivers and are tamed with any kind of seeds, carrots, melon, or bread.

Finding Items

After being tamed, if they're not sitting, they'll find random items in grass and water, mostly seeds, fishing loot, and rarely ore nuggets (including diamond nuggets).

Duck Armor

You can also craft armor for them. Ducks equipped with armor will defend their owner, and to take off the armor, use dirt. End rod duck armor makes the duck shoot end rods at its target that inflict weakness.

Rubber Ducky Pet Hat

The Rubber Ducky pet hat is an item rarely found by ducks in water. It can be equipped on any pet from this add-on and makes it more likely to "combo" (hit its target without getting hurt back). It also enables pets that don't usually fight for you to fight for you anyway, just like any piece of pet equipment that makes the pet stronger does (currently just this and the rat crown).

Leveling

Ducks can be leveled up. To level up ducks, you have to make them kill mobs (by equipping the duck with armor and then attacking mobs). When a duck levels up, its health, attack damage, speed, and reach increase. Leveled ducks will also find items in grass and water more often, and from level 5 and onwards, the items they find will also start becoming better.
